CD/DVD/USB medical solution
At the peak of the CD/DVD era, Magnetics duplicated 50,000 discs per month for the Israeli software industry. Unlike the music industry, where large-scale production was standard, the software industry often preferred smaller batches to minimize losses and avoid waste in case a software bug was discovered shortly after a new revision was released.
From this stage, it was a natural progression for the company to move into USB flash drive duplication and printing, as the process was nearly identical—printing, duplication, and verification.
Unlike optical discs, which were used solely for software distribution and became obsolete after installation, USB flash drives were also in demand for promotional and branding purposes. Magnetics seized this new opportunity, expanding into the marketing and promotional products sector while maintaining its reputation for high-quality service and reliability.

A Strategic Shift into Medical Data Solutions
In 2013, Magnetics returned to a market it had previously explored but set aside 6-7 years earlier—the medical disc production industry. This included providing patients with radiology scans such as MRI, CT, CR, and ultrasound. By 2016, Magnetics was officially approved as the exclusive supplier of these systems for Israel’s largest healthcare organizations.
This strategic shift led Magnetics to focus on several key technological products and services:
• Distribution of critical software on USB drives
• Manufacturing and marketing of optical discs and USB products
• Sales of duplication and branding machines, along with printing services
• Software and hardware for viewing, storing, and transferring DICOM (radiology) scans
• Medical software solutions featuring advanced AI-based technologies
• Recycling of used electronic data equipment, including NSA-compliant degaussing (magnetization) of hard drives and magnetic tapes
• Creation of virtual tape libraries for historical backup tapes, allowing seamless data center access while freeing up IT resources and enabling the secure disposal and recycling of physical tapes
